Sometime during the last years of the 19th century, Alf Glover and family move from Louisiana to Arkansas. In 1900, the family is living in Union Co. Arkansas. The household includes Alf, Eliza, Nannie, Ethie, George, Gemi, Isa B., and Marshall. The 3 oldest children, Frank, Fayette, and Mary, appear to work, if not live outside the home. Fayette works as a servant in the area. There's a big question mark as to Frank & Mary's whereabouts.
In 1906, 22 yr. old Mary, marries 22 yr. old George Tisby, on March 13th. Both give El Dorado, Union Co.. Ark, as their city of residence.
Though both Mary & George are unaccounted for in 1910, by 1920, 40 yr. old Mary,is listed with her parents in their home, and her marital status is that of widow.
There are 2 other 'possible' Mary (Glover) Tisbie sightings: One, when a 41 yr. old divorced Mary Glover is listed as a boarder in the household of Charlie H. & Vollie Little, in Bradley, Lafayette, on the 1930 census. I've since discovered several of Alf's' descendants lived/died in the Bradley area. Possible? Maybe?
The second is for a Mary Tisbie, age 37, marrying 26 yr. old B.P. Parker in Magnolia, Ark. on Jan. 27, 1923. Possible? Maybe?
